Pin Holes, Diaphragms

Pin Holes / apertures are a type of product used for optical experiments. There are two types of pin hole holders: one for securing the pinhole with a screw to adjust the fine movement in the YZ-axis direction, and the other type that can be used for a luminous flux diaphragm. The variable pin hole holder has eight different holes of ø0.2 to 6.0 on the disk, and performs positioning using the click stop method. You can change the size just by rotating it. The aperture controls the illumination and depth of focus by adjusting the size of the light intake. There are two types: rotary diaphragm and iris diaphragm, and the iris diaphragm allows you to adjust the size yourself, in contrast to the rotating diaphragm that has a fixed size hole. The product is made by stacking multiple aperture plates, and when squeezed, the diameter of the hole becomes smaller, and when opened, it becomes larger. The hole of the rotary plate diaphragm is circular, and the hole of the iris diaphragm is polygonal.
