Cancellation Policy for Make-To-Order (MTO) Items,Stock Items and Large Quantity Order

In this Cancellation Policy / Changing Order, "MISUMI" means PT. MISUMI INDONESIA and the Customer means our customer as defined in Article 1.1 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale separately set out in this website (the "Terms and Conditions").

Changing and Cancelling Orders

Cancellation policy will vary depending on "days to ship" of the products. For changing or cancelling the orders, please contact MISUMI. Please note that change or cancellation of the Customer's order may not be accepted in certain cases.

<STOCK ITEMS>

When the Customer specified the shipping date of the Product on the next day or after in the Customer's order, changing or cancelling such order may be accepted during the business hours on the previous day of shipping.
Please note that changing and cancelling orders cannot be accepted when the same day shipping is specified.

<MAKE-TO-ORDER ITEMS>

Background

Many of MISUMI products are Make-To-Order (MTO) items that are manufactured individually according to the customer's specifications on sizes and shapes. To ensure delivery of the desired products in the shortest lead time, we start production on the day of order acceptance for standard shipping date orders. Hence, any changes or cancellation of order made after production commenced would cause substantial disruption to the production and as a result incur significant costs.

We thus stipulate the policy for changing/cancelling of Make-To-Order (MTO) items to minimize such occurrence. Please note that this cancellation policy applies to Make-To-Order (MTO) items including items stored outside Indonesia.

Standard Shipping Date Orders

As for Standard Shipping Date Orders, changing/cancelling order is difficult because the production commenced on the day of order acceptance, however, we can accept changes or cancellation within 2 hours of order confirmation at free of charge.

Cancellation after 2 hours of order confirmation will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge of the items cancelled. Please note that changing or canceling orders will not be accepted after 4:30pm(Monday to Friday)/ 2:00pm(Saturday) Indonesia Standard time, even though the cancellation is submitted within 2 hours of order confirmation.

Ex. When shipping day is on 3rd business day of order confirmation (3 days to ship products)

Ex. When shipping day is on 5th business day of order confirmation (5 days to ship products)

Specified Shipping Date Orders

When a shipping date is specified by customer, changing/cancelling of orders are as follows

Ex. When specifying the 10th business day shipping from the next day of order confirmation (3 days to ship products)

Ex. When specifying the 10th business day shipping from the next day of order confirmation (5 days to ship products)

<SPECIAL LARGE QUANTITY ORDERS>

As confirmed upon quotation, cancellation of special large quantity orders is not acceptable .
