[Features]
· An objective lens comprised of reflecting mirrors, which can be used over a wide wavelength region of 350 nm to 7 µm because it is not affected by the chromatic aberration from the refractive index of glass.
· Useful in failure analysis, etc., for microspectroscopy or semiconductors.
· Using a calibration ring attached to the middle of the body, the lens barrel length can be switched.
· With this adjustment, it can be used for various microscope lens-barrels from a lens-barrel length of 80 mm to infinite distance.
· The aluminum film of the reflecting mirror is provided with a MgF2 protective coating so the mirror does not readily deteriorate, and can therefore be used over a long period of time.
· As JIS Standard M20.32 (P = 0.706) is used for the mounting screw of the objective lens, it can be installed to many types of microscope lens barrels.
· Since the focus position and size of the image do not change for visible light and ultraviolet light / infrared light, it is possible to match the invisible light image and the visible light image accurately.
· An adapter is also available (OBLR-AMT) for mounting onto the revolver of a microscope.
· A fixed type holder (LHO-20.32) is also available to secure reflecting objective lenses.
· * The area near the optical axis is shielded by a reflection mirror and thus cannot be used for laser processing.
· * Reflecting objective lenses cannot be mounted on the revolvers of some microscopes.
· * The thickness scales of the cover glass will not move.
· * Use after matching the lens-barrel length scale used with the lens-barrel length correction ring to the cover glass thickness scale used.
· * The center of the optical axis is shielded by a reflection mirror, and thus the amount of received light may be extremely low or observation may be impossible when a light source with directivity is observed.
· * There is light loss of 45% or more due to shielding by the reflection mirror (approx. 36%) and reflectance from the aluminum (approx. 90% per surface).
