A 1: 1 connection using RS-422 or up to 16 HL-G1 series units using RS-485 can be connected, and measured values can be returned from the HL-G1 series in response to the request message from the PLC. When using the manufacturer's PLC*, it is possible to easily operate the settings of the HL-G1 series and acquire the measurement output by using the PLC data write/read commands (F145, F146).

Up to 16 sensors can be set at once. You can easily collect the data required for analysis, such as monitoring the received amount waveform and data buffering. You can select each language during installation.

The amount of light received is displayed for each cell of the light receiving element.

The measured value and the output status of each terminal are displayed.

Product Specifications

(*1): The measurement condition without specification is the power supply voltage: 24 V DC, ambient temperature: 20°C, sampling cycle: 500 μs, average number of times: 1,024 times, measurement center distance, target object: White ceramic (specular reflection type is aluminum vapor deposition surface reflector), analog output.
(*2): It complies with FDA Regulations (21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11) in accordance with the provisions of Laser Notice No. 50 (2007.6.24) of the FDA Regulations.
(*3): The size at the measurement center distance. It is defined as 1/e^2 (approx. 13.5%) of the central light intensity.
          If there is light leakage outside the definition range and the reflectance around the detection point is higher than that of the detection point, it may be affected.
