Frequently asked question (FAQ)

Question: Can steam be used as a fluid?
Answer: It is not a steam hose. Please use below 130°C and 0.2 MPa for brief sterilization work only; continuous use should be avoided.
Question: Can caustic soda be used as a fluid?
Answer: Do not pass caustic soda solution through the hose, as it will develop deterioration. However, solutions diluted to 2% to 3% may be used with no practical harm for the purpose of washing such as CIP cleaning. They are in fact used this way by CIP equipment manufacturers. Note that deterioration will proceed faster than with air or water as fluids
